Why do we like this?

I think my Spotify algorithm has me down at this point. Lately I cannot get enough of the incredible musical talent coming out of Australia. Every band I find is a new favorite, and brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach of Lime Cordiale are no exception. "Money" is an utterly anthemic rock and roll tune, and the comparisons above should not be taken lightly.

These guys are like The Beach Boys meets the Strokes, infused with the perfect dose of pop. Thick basslines, groovy drums, and a psychedelic guitar. Did I mention they have horns too? Louis' grungy tone immediately grips you, and the falsetto and keys in the chorus make this track shimmer.

I cannot say enough good things about this song. I can only imagine this one live when those horns and keys start going at the end. Lime Cordiale will be supporting Milky Chance on several shows in the United States this summer.
