Little Dragon vs. Zion I Ritual Union (J.Period Refix)

J.Period got massive respect back when he released a three-part mixtape called The Messengers. Featuring tributes to Fela Kuti, Bob Marley and Bob Dylan, the collection showcased his respect and skill (check out an amazing example with "Don't Think Twice").

To this day, he continues to be a prolific artist. But, most of what comes up passes completely by my ears. Except this track. This track caught my attention last night, and today I made my mind up that it ought to be shared.

Much of Little Dragon's "Ritual Union" is kept intact throughout the song, but the overlays of reggae and hip-hop flow result in a pleasant surprise. Not that I expected anything less...
