We recently wrote about Liu Bel and their stunning debut single, "Infatuation."
Now, the single's B-side has been released. "Atlas World" is instantly captivating, with its melancholic lyrical laments, soft synth electronic tones, and echoic reverbs.
As frontman Richard describes it, Liu Bei came to fruition at a time when he was close to quitting the live music scene to focus on his career writing music for TV shows and ads. Deciding to collaborate with some friends and focus on a sound that was "epic and timeless," the band grew inspiration from influences like Mazzy Star and Slowdive, and were recently signed onto ParadYse / Transgressive records.
The layers of this track are magnificent, with acoustic emphasis placed on the opening and end lyrics. The single is due for release on July 7 through iTunes.
