Why do we like this?
Louis Cole is here in South Africa with his band Knower for the Cape Town International Jazz Festival. To be honest I'm not keen on hearing any of what they have to offer unless Louis is wearing that hot Waffle House top being sported in the "Doing The Things" video.
In what feels like an effortless 2 minutes of your time, Cole whips up a funk frenzy and then just drops the listener. When we meet on Friday I'll definitely be having a word with him about that, because honestly, considering that the world has recently used up its remaining Ebola treatment facilities, instigating that sort of fervor is reckless.
