Why do we like this?

What does Keanu Reeves and Sydney musician Love Deluxe have in common? The actors traditional Hawaiian name translates to “Cool Breeze Over The Mountains,” which by no coincidence is the name of the lead single off Love Deluxe’s forthcoming EP Silk Mirage.

The single’s catchy synth hook, dusty drums and funky, floating bass line carries a groove reminiscent of a slightly more laid-back Harvey Sutherland. There’s also a fresh “Boogie In The Garage” remix courtesy of Swedish hard-hitters Mount Liberation Unlimited.

“Cool Breeze Over The Mountains” is out now on Melbourne's Soothsayer.
