Lyves

I heard this track in Sonder's "Victoria" mix a few months back, and when I saw that Lyves has just released "No Love" as a single, I was overjoyed (and literally jumped onto this review within an hour). Lyves (aka Francesca Bergami) is London based singer, songwriter and producer who possesses a blissful, breathy R&B vocal, and a gorgeous atmospheric style of production. "No Love", co-produced by Atu, and taken from her upcoming EP Like Water, just re-iterates what a big fan I am of Lyves’ haunting brand of modern R&B. Minimal, spacious production allow room for her vocal to float effortlessly above well placed beats, subtle guitar licks and minor piano chords.
