Why do we like this?

M.I.A. is always one to do things her way, and the release of these two new tracks is testament to that. 

The first, "MIA OLA," samples the Lion King's "The Circle Of Life," and is followed by the shorter "Foreign Friend." Both tracks are politically charged, dealing with the issue of immigration.

It's not known if these tracks will appear on her upcoming album, but it does seem the Lion King sample hasn't been cleared, with M.I.A. taking to Twitter to announce; 

"TO FLYPIRATES and DJS - THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM MIA !!!! LIVE @ THE BORDER OLA !!!! SPREAD THE WAVES"

Either way, this release builds my anticipation for Matahdatah.
