"Midnight City" is the first track from M83's forthcoming album Hurry Up, We're Dreaming, which drops October 18 (yes, I know, such a frustratingly long way off).There are a lot of things to be excited about here: the amazing talents of M83 (aka Anthony Gonzalez) showcased on an epic double (!!) album, production efforts from Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Beck, The Mars Volta, Goldfrapp), and guest vocals from Zola Jesus. Seriously. Oh, um, did I mention there's a saxophone solo in this song? Yup.Commenting on the album, Gonzalez had this to say: I think it is a reflection of my 30 years of being a human being. It's a compilation of all my previous music together. It's a retrospective of myself. October can't come soon enough!
