Why do we like this?
Maribou State's music has had a lot of attention here at Indie Shuffle, and with their latest release "Hollow Grove," there's little chance of that changing any time soon.

It's a sign of the success Maribou State are currently experiencing that The Guardian recently featured them, saying:

"'Hollow Grove' is jazzy, featuring a cameo this time from Nubiya Brandon, who's clearly feeling kind of blue, and plangent piano chords at right angles to the vocal line."
