Why do we like this?

Matt Corby is back to grace us with his newest single, "Knife Edge." This one is a true testament to his soul background and showcases sultry, R&B inspired vocals.

"Knife Edge" is more similar to his warm "Sooth Lady Wine" than his heartbreaking "Runaway." It has a hazy, psychedelic groove with a little 70's rock flavor thrown in. With layered harmonies and Matt's signature vibrato, it's sure to make you weak in the knees.

Although it doesn't showcase his angelic falsetto the way I was hoping, the new sound suggests artistic growth. It illustrates the extent of Corby's talent and proves he isn't afraid to take risks. Additionally, he seems to have constructed a very cohesive sound for his forthcoming album.
