Why do we like this?

British alt-rockers Matthew and Me have just unveiled their single "Figure" from their forthcoming Starpoint EP. Following last month's "Joy," this one combines their lively instrumentation with an arpeggiated carousel of melodies to sweep you into their musical world.

The duo, comprised of vocalist/songwriter Matthew Board and drummer Lucy Fawcett, create a strong musical dynamic, fusing hard-edged guitars and fervent percussion with airy vocals. The lucid melodies throughout "Figure" feel purely effortless, showing off the band's energetic yet graceful ease. 

The Starpoint EP will be available November 18 on Beatnik Creative, followed by a brief tour around England. Find the dates below:
