Why do we like this?

Nope, you're not listening to Electric Guest or Broken Bells. But, I can't blame you if you've confused Max Frost with the Danger Mouse-produced bands.

Turns out Max is a solo act hailing from Austin. So far he's released four tracks on Soundcloud, the majority of which have a sort-of R&B / funk feel -- in fact, the contrast between the former three and this single "White Lies" is like night and day.

Here's hoping Max Frost continues down the Danger Mouse path!
