Why do we like this?

Too much Detroit for you? What? Never.

Never mind the fact that Detroit Swindle, a Dutch duo, is still my favorite thing about Detroit... wait, what the what? Yes, I said that. Detroit is cool and all, Hawthorne is Hawthorne and all, but Detroit Swindle is number one.

Their remix of Mayer Hawthorne's "The Stars Are Ours" is out now and it's free for download. And I swear, house was never so fun before Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets started swindling the Detroit out of Detroit. Now here they go bringing the bounce to Detroit's own Mayer Hawthorne.

I think this post wins for "over abundant use of Detroit," also the word "what," so just for fun, I'll remind you to check out Swindle's "Huh, What?" album because, well, why not?
