Why do we like this?
Mad props to Metric for putting up pretty much their entire discography on Soundcloud. It means we can flash all the way back to 2001, when Metric released their debut album Grow Up And Blow Away.

The album wasn't actually the first that I heard by the band -- that honor goes to Old World Underground. But, it was pleasantly surprising to me to find a great back catalogue from the band, including this gem of an opener "Grow Up And Blow Away."

For lack of any other new songs today, I hope you enjoy this one from way back when.
