Urban Disco Choir

A driving urban disco track that doesn't let up for anyone at any time and a pulsing choral vocal layer leads to a wholly unique sound.

The Brooklyn-based duo Metro Area has delivered something almost non-sensically amazing. A disco track layered with strong funk inspirations and a heavy pulsing bass sample that gets elevated to a whole new sound when the whaling choral vocals get introduced.

The track also doesn't shy away from this great usage of vocal skill and wholly embraces it to develop new lines, new samples, and a bumping disco-funk sound that had me gleefully bopping.
