Why do we like this?

I don't like covers. Let me just put that out there. I think there's something that cheapens the arts when someone doesn't have to write or produce or do anything and puts out a tune and serves it to the blogs and PR firms like it's supposed to be gold. But for some reason this "reinterpretation" of MGMT's classic "Electric Feel" doesn't seem so cheap. 

CRW crushes the vocal performance. It feels like an entire new song. And maybe that has something to do with Nick Talos's production on it. While you can still hear remnants of the original, it doesn't completely jack it, at all. 

What we get? A nice burst of happiness and good vibes just the way we did when we first heard the original. I love that. 

Enjoy the feels on this one. They are worth the listen.
