Why do we like this?

Sometimes you go into a song kind of expecting not to enjoy it. Probably not the best attitude to lead with, but I'm happy to say this track changed my mind. 

It's the aggressively growling sawtooth wave that does it for me. Not only was I not expecting it, but it's almost welcomingly unsettling. Coupled with the gentle twinkling synths, it's a winning combination of edgy and melodic.

Also, the track description reads "Acid tabs in a subway station," which adds a totally different dimension to the track than I was imagining.

Think about that when you listen, and if you're so inclined grab a free download for the next time you're tripping on the subway.
