Why do we like this?

As a fan of Midoca and Lostboycrow separately, I was interested to see them on a new track together. LBC has been leaning towards a more poppy vibe lately, so I was curious to see how he'd reconcile this with Midoca's laid-back, dark production.

"Never Coming Down" combines LBC's older R&B vocal style with Midoca's downcast and minimal "moodwave." The brooding melody feels a bit like The Weeknd's introspective and sinister-smooth sound from House Of Balloons.  

The spacious production remains simple with subtle trap-inspired percussion. The silky and complementary mixture has me hoping to see these two collaborate again in the future.
