Why do we like this?

Bay Area vocalist and King Woman member Kristina Esfandiari is readying the release of her debut album, Uncontrollable, the follow-up to a series of EPs under the alias Miserable. 

The album's first single, "Violet," is a haunting comedown of reverb and shoegaze melodies. Esfandiari's cathartic and melancholy vocals seep emotion as the nostalgic sounds offer an insight into the demons waging war inside her head. 

The SoundCloud description for this track details the album's emotional quality, with Uncontrollable "wrestling with insecurities, grief, and the lingering feeling of lack of control."

This track, along with the album, are set to be depressing as hell. Where do I sign up?
