Mitski Nobody

Mitski's single "Nobody" is a relatable and timeless indie pop ballad perfectly primed for our generation.

The beginning of the song starts off simply enough, but it's obvious that something bigger is around the corner. Shortly thereafter we're graced with a build-up, as Mitski begins to pour her heart out for all to hear. The disco-centric guitar paired with a punchy piano isn't the only pleasantly surprising pairing. The chorus oozes with a pop sensibility that never seems to let up. The lyrics are the main focal point, but that's not to say the instrumentals don't shine brightly. Altogether, this track is hard to listen to just once (or twice).
