Why do we like this?

It's been a little while since MØ popped up on my radar, but this cover of "Attack of the Ghost Riders" really managed to pull me in with its blend of old-school punk and more modern electronic/production techniques.

The gritty bass, howling vocals, upbeat tempo and easy-to-join-in-melody all add together for a somewhat punky experience. Perhaps that's testament to The Raveonettes? I can't say that's my go-to genre these days, but it's actually quite fun to hear how these guys have bundled it all up.
