Why do we like this?
These days, it's getting more and more difficult to define genres, and Louis Futon is not making it any easier considering what they've done to Mos Def's 15-year-old hip-hop track "Ms. Fat Booty."
Philadelphia-based talents Tyler Minford and Logan Zoghby are the musically passionate fellas behind the moniker, which is a play off the world-famous luxury brand Louis Vuitton. Their stage name is as playful as is their music -- this track has already surpassed the 100k mark on SoundCloud in less than two weeks. The release has without doubt helped get their name on the map, yet they've put out tons on impressive music to date.
I'll let a description from their Facebook page take us out, as I cannot describe what their all about better than they can themselves: "We make music because we love music and would be lifeless souls without it. We produce what makes us happy, which is why GENRES DONT DEFINE US. To those of you that come across our music and enjoy it we appreciate you immensely. While there may be no free hand-outs in life we strive to give away our music for free, so please enjoy and share."
