Why do we like this?

Mt. Wolf reveal the first single from their as yet unnamed forthcoming EP, to be released in early 2016.

"Hex" is an ambient, chilling track, with a haunting vocal that sings about the aftermath of losing someone close, and escaping the spell they had cast.

A lulling, folk temperament at the beginning of the track moves into a heavier, indie-rock realm, with the song ending on a rather strong note. Soft, gentle female backing vocals meld effortlessly with the main main vocal, while strings heighten the ethereal nature of the entire single.

Now firmly consolidated as a formidable 3-piece with singer and producer Sebastian Fox, guitarist Stevie McMinn and drummer Alex Mitchell, the band’s hallmark splicing of electronic and acoustic elements has not been lost in their new recordings.

Mt. Wolf will embark on a UK tour commencing November 17th -- head over to their Facebook page for tour dates and details.
