Why do we like this?
Los Angeles' MUNA arrived on the scene last year, equipped with an EP that blended classic 80s sounds with their own distinctive brand of brooding electronica.
"Crying on the Bathroom Floor" is a deliciously atmospheric piece of synth-pop. Brimming with atmosphere and signature 80s guitars (think M83 meets Shura), Katie Gavin's dreamy vocals keep the pace with a distinctive club beat. A moody cocktail of darkwave and sheer pop, MUNA remains one of the most promising names in synth.
This track is included in their debut album, About U, released on February 3, 2017.
