Changes

Sounds like: Odesza, Penguin Prison, Strange Talk
MUTEMATH’s latest single “Changes” is chock-full of smooth, synthy goodness. Lead vocalist Paul Meany’s mellifluous vocals are supported by a touch of electronica that gives it a slight edge without anything too harsh or disruptive. The band has evolved quite a bit since their earlier works. Typically an indie rock band, MUTEMATH is dipping their toes into the increasingly popular sound of future bass without doing a total pivot from their already established sound. The aptly-named “Changes” is the title track off their latest album Changes, a “re-imagined” version of their previous album Vitals. If you want to catch them live, they are already slated to perform at Hangout Fest in Alabama this May.
