Why do we like this?

There are a lot of acts with 'huge promise' from the future R&B world around at the moment.  From Alessia Cara to JP Cooper, the spread of talented vocalists with decent production behind them is growing and the online music community is scrabbling to cover the latest and greatest. 

Nao has already made her debut online and shown her strengths as a songwriter instead of just being an of the moment 'hype.' Combine that with her recent collaboration with UK DJ Mura Masa "Firefly" that's gaining traction across the UK radio scene and we've got the perfect storm forming. 

Brooding and ethereal, unique yet beautifully produced, "Apple Cherry" captures the essence of 90's classic soul and R&B while bringing it up to to speed with modern electronic production.
