Why do we like this?
Alongside a deluxe reissue of his 2009 album "Psychic Chasms," Neon Indian released a 9-track bonus remix disk titled "Mind Cntrl: Psychic Chasms." One of the remixes on the album by Anoraak has been making ripples throughout the internet, and for good reason.
Like many other remixes on Indie Shuffle as of late, Anoraak's work adds a fuzzy, crisp, clear and warm element to an otherwise originally sharp (at least, for chillwave) track. I think I like the reworked version more than the original, which may speak for two minds being sometimes better than one when creating music. In case you wanted something more in-line with his original work, check out our bonus track, "Should Have Taken Acid With You" remixed by Breakfast of Champions.
