Why do we like this?

I don't know about you, but bright 80s-inspired synth lines just make me feel all warm inside. I know many music purists have their beef with the synth-pop craze, but there's something about electronically created beeps and bloops that just speaks to my soul. Anyone who doesn't think that electronic music can convey any feelings should have a listen to New Arcades.

The perennial British 80s children are back at it again with a brand new track called "Motives." Pairing their emotive filled electro beats with some Robert Smith-inspired vocals, this is definitely a combination that can't be wrong in my book.

If you dig it, you can download it for free over on their SoundCloud page as they get ready to release a brand new EP. Keep an eye on their Facebookfor news on the release.
