That's a wrap for year twelve of Outside Lands! If you were one of the lucky patrons to visit the park over the weekend, you were blessed with warm, sunny weather for all three days. It was said that Saturday broke a single day record with over 90,000 attendees.

Some of the highlights included Childish Gambino's "farewell tour" to Paul Simon bringing out long time friend Bob Weir to San Halo dropping off some heavy, heavy beats on the Sutro stage. As usual, the food and drink "lands" were super stars at Outside lands. Local chefs from around the region showcased special dishes from their popular restaurants. Some personal favorites were Michelin-starred Omakase sushi and Michelin-starred Rich Table porcini doughnuts. Oh, and fried avocado street tacos were oddly satisfying.

The lowlights included Lil Wayne's 20 min late appearance and lack of "hits." Also, the sad, but imminent thought on everyone's mind -- the recent shootings around the country. Security was tight and armed policemen were visually present, that unfortunately seems to be the new norm moving forward. It was reported that the event proceed without any issues, so perhaps the security should be noted in the highlights.

While the post Outside Lands blues are real, we will reminisce on all the good times until next year. Thank you, Outside Lands for another year in the books!

Childish Gambino - Feels Like Summer
