Why do we like this?

Well, talk about too long between drinks!

It has been farrrrrr too long since we heard from Nick Hakim. He left us longing for more music after his Where Will We Go Pt. 1 and Where Will We Go Pt. 2 EP's dropped over two year ago, and is not back with "Bet She Looks Like You" -- the first taste of debut album Green Twins, out via ATO Records on May 19th.

"Bet She Looks Like You" doesn't stray away from the lo-fi soul sound he has cultivated, with Hakim's phenomenal vocal performance and wonderfully emotive vibrato floating over watery guitar riffs, chugging bass lines and straight hitting drums. Perfection.
