Why do we like this?

Nick Faker & Chet Murphy are back at it. "Medication" is a strong-beat, great-vocal tune that's got fans crying over it. 

That's right, people are shedding actual tears. I read an article earlier this week about why we cry, and my take-away was that tears appear when our fears dissipate. It's the process of moving from a high tension state, to one of recovery. With that being said, it appears as though "Medicine" is just that for its listeners. It abates fears and brings about a sense of recovery. Nick Murphy was onto something when he wrote the lyric "I'm a medication."
