Why do we like this?

Although there's been a lot of buzz around electronic music, it's actually a genre that's been bubbling for a long time. Melbourne-based producer Null has done a pretty good job of paying homage to much of the genre's history on his first official release, with pretty special results.

Debut single "Luv U, Luv Me" references legendary electronic pioneers Underworld and Orbital, with elements of techno, ambient, and house music brought together with supreme skill. The track is a journey, and a great opportunity to announce this accomplished producer's talent.

The first single from his EP Almost (scheduled for release on March 3 via Acéphale and Siberia Records) will be accompanied by a series of captivating visuals. Created by L.A.-based Oval-X, you can check out a preview stream on Null's website.
