ODESZA is an American electronic music duo from Seattle who has been on quite the roll the last few years. I've also noticed that they have a huge presence here on Indie Shuffle, with 37 tracks relating to them -- kudos.
They recently just wrapped up a slew of dates on their In Return world tour, selling out almost every single show -- very impressive. The guys have been on fire from their sold-out tour dates to having twenty four tracks hit #1 on Hype Machine to recently having "Say My Name" (RAC Remix) getting nominated for the Best Remixed Recording Grammy.
Being that I missed their last stop here in San Francisco at Outside Lands Music Festival, and with the FOMO running high, I couldn't miss their most recent sold-out appearance here.
While the openers Big Wild and Bonobo created an early buzz, the gents, Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight, proved their worth with a great performance. The energy was high, the beats were low, and the horns were heavy. It also doesn't hurt to end the night with a shower of confetti.
