Why do we like this?
Here's a fucking delicious cocktail of R&B and electro. It's a take on the classic James Warren track "Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime," yet with a distinct soul touch. Drinking it in just gives me the giggles. It's that good.
Self-described as a "dynamic mix of R&B, distorted soul, and unearthy gospel," Ofei's definitely got style. Watch the way his hoarsey voice lulls about against guitars, piano and drums, then even gets to toying with a bit of what sounds like autotune. Crazy and classy all at the same time.
Still a mystery even since Tobias' last coverage back in September, you can listen to OFEI's original EP, London, on Bandcamp. More music promised in his PR mails "soon."
