Why do we like this?

A South African rap superstar linking up with Austrian synth-maestros almost sounds too good to be real. Fortunately it's an actual thing now with this forthcoming release off of Affine Records -- Home to artists such as Dorian Concpet and Cid Rim.

Speaking of Cid Rim, heand The Clonious executive produced this track together as part of Okmalumkoolkat's debut solo EP. The four-track EP drops on August 4, so for now this will have to do.

Funny enough, I met Cid Rim when he was down here in Cape Town for the Cape Town Electronic Music Festival (CTEMF), and he couldn't stop raving about how great he thought the local lyricist was. I'm extremely pleased to learn he went ahead and did something about that!
