Just over a month ago, Bryan Sammis, aka Olivver, made the breakthrough of his solo career with "Attica '71." It appears that the once-drummer from The Neighbourhood is in it for the long haul as we premiere his newest single, "Revival."
Produced by Lovelife, a group renowned for their dark brooding synth work, it was fairly obvious that this was going to be a collaboration too irresistible to pass up. The focus here is on Bryan's silky smooth vocals, which are coupled perfectly with Lovelife's melancholy style.
I've been sitting back in my room just entranced by the production and the complexities of this emotional piece. It may not have those intricate guitar lines from the previous single, but it is filled deeply with incredible atmospherics that bring it to a perfect crescendo.
Olivver's revival is well on track, and I honestly can't wait to see what comes next!
