Why do we like this?

A rework of Fousheé's "Deep End" this song caught my attention and has been on repeat more times than I'm brave enough to admit.

"Deeeep End," though slightly repetitive, is just so beautiful. Anchored with a heavy percussive instrumental lead, the wet vocal production that's hazy and light feels in perfect balance.

While the overall sound is feather-light, the lyrics contain weightier sentimentality. If you're looking for a pick-up, simply let the sounds wash over you. If you're after something deeper, simply hone in on the lyrics and ponder how they sit for you, at this chapter of your life, in this moment.
