Why do we like this?

Stop me if you've heard this one before: Dead As Disco is a 19-year-old Australian future bass producer inspired by Flume. While this seems to be the overwhelming trend, the young artist puts his unique spin on Ookay's "Thief" in this remix. 

He leaves the majority of the original intact, subduing the bass drum and centering the composition around the swaying sax melody. Adding rhythmic chords and celestial synths to the catchy trap track, he transforms it into a blissful ear-pleasing creation.
