The thing that struck me about Oshi's latest was the real future R&B influence seeping through. Among the sampling and current dance production standards in the mix, this is a global melting pot of genres indicative of the future of music. For many years it's been melding into a real mixed scene, where no one style is sacred. The great thing is that it's sounding wonderful. Treating the as-yet-unreleased track by Jamal Woon (an unknown from Hitchin, UK -- the hometown of one James Bay) to a rather sexy underground refix, the plays on this track are into the six figures in just over a week of upload.
