Other Lives Tamer Animals (Atoms For Peace Remix)

Other Lives' Tamer Animals is a carefully crafted 11-song album recorded in the band's own studio in Stillwater, Oklahoma. "Tamer Animals," the album's self-titled single, has recently been remixed by Thom York's Atoms For Peace project, something that might not come as much of a surprise after touring and opening for Radiohead.

This rework is more visceral and electrified than the original with pounding beats and clouds of vocals coming in and out in waves. It's clear that we have a Yorke track when the beats meticulously fondle you with magical soundscapes while the steady electronics surround the entire musical atmosphere. Only under three minutes in length, this remix confidently packs an audible punch, particularly if you were already digging Other Lives to begin with.

You can purchase this remix digitally on limited edition hand-numbered white label vinyl on July 30 and on regular 12" vinyl on August 6 via Modeselektor's Monkeytown label for their 50WEAPONS series.
