Why do we like this?

I think there are a few things about this song that managed to draw me in.

For starters, the general instrumentation centers around arpeggios. For some reason I'm a sucker when it comes to arpeggios.

Secondly, it reminds me a lot of Blonde Redhead. I haven't listened to Blonde Redhead in years, but I used to be a big fan - so this one sorta opened up a can of memory-land worms.

Lastly, it's a really well-executed song.

All of the above meant that I was left with no option but to share Overland Inn's "Proxima" with you today. French duo Etienne and Chloë recorded this one in the Czech Republic. It'll be the title track on their 4th studio album, due for release early January of 2022. Keep in the loop here.
