Why do we like this?

A cheerful and melodic indie rock ditty with some driving bass,  and lofi dreampop vocals (sounds a bit like a lofi bedroom take on Real Estate). "Lucky 9" comes out of Moscow, from the singer-songwriter and producer, Sergey Khavro aka Parks, Squares and Alleys. 

"This song is dedicated to Daniel Johnston," accompanies the track information across the artist's Youtube, Bandcamp, and Instagram pages. 

It's fairly widely acknowledged that John Lennon's lucky number was the number nine, and as fas as I understand Daniel Johnston was somewhat obsessed with The Beatles (here's a song he dedicated to them). Perhaps Daniel Johnston's lucky number was nine too?
