Why do we like this?

I'm often reluctant to post more "mellow" tracks as Song of the Day, but Patrick Watson's latest album Adventures In Your Own Backyard is so amazingly good, that I just can't help it. If you like Andrew Bird or The Tallest Man On Earth, I think this listen might be for you as well.

"Words In The Fire" is the seventh track on his album, and was officially posted for streaming today by Domino Records. Laid seamlessly over beautiful acoustic guitar and accompanied by amazing vocal backing, Patrick Watson's unique voice shines through on this track as best it can.
