Why do we like this?
Peach Pit's single, "Sweet FA" emulates the often imitated, rarely impressively executed slacker pop genre.
The track is a slip n' slide of guitar noodling and laid back drums. The bass unassumingly lingers in the background as the vocals lightly glide through. Sooner than later a larger composition breaks into the song complete with tambourine, harmonies and strong guitar riffs to boot. The shift between lush and simplicity is the perfect balance to execute a quintessential indie pop gem.
