Pearla Daydream

Rising Brooklyn starlet Pearla has announced the release of her debut EP, Quilting & Other Activities, and to celebrate has dropped the captivating single "Daydream."

A woozy, folk tune bristling with feeling, "Daydream" is a wonderfully calming single from 23-year-old Nicole Rodriguez. This track, along with the EP, was produced and arranged by Typer Postiglione (Rektagon, Strange Loops), mixed by Phil Joly (The Strokes, Lana Del Rey) and masted by Sarah Register (The Shins, Big Thief). Speaking on Quilting & Other Activities, Rodriguez had this to say;

Writing each song allowed me to accept myself and my emotions as valid; and recognize that pain is just as beautiful and important as the good stuff. It’s a catalog of me, maybe messily, trying to figure out how to deal with certain new and overwhelming emotions, and learning how to be okay with letting things go.

Quilting & Other Activities is set for release September 6.
