Why do we like this?
Hands down, this is the best remix of Phoenix's "Trying To Be Cool" that I have heard thus far, produced by none other than Montreal's Preston Chin, aka Robotaki.
Funny how an artist will detail something as an unofficial release, but still absolutely smash it out of the park, which is exactly what Preston has done. It's definitely not a half-ass job; the production is impressive and exuberant, and the synth work is simply scintillating.
