Why do we like this?

This one came out on my birthday, April 29th. It was the best present I received and is a gift that keeps on giving. Somehow, the timing of this release felt cosmic. One of my favorite artists gives me the best of the three pre-album singles on the reunion of my entry into this world. Magic!

Photay's Waking Hours is out in full on June 12th. I'm quite excited for the release, however an insidious, selfish part of me is hoping that "The People" is the best song on the album. Imagine that! The best song, released on my birthday.

The release will be through a lovely label called Mexican Summer, and I'm insanely jealous of whoever was born on June 12th.
