"Indie / Experimental Pop? That's not even a genre!"
Yeah, I hear you. It's sort of an amalgamation genre, if you will. Basically, these are all the tracks that I think were really really really awesome in 2017, but can't quite be placed into one of the cookie-cutter genres (eg, "Indie Rock" or "Hip-Hop"). Granted, most of them are of the band variety, but you catch my drift.
Bottom line: I think that out of all the "best of" playlists, this one's probably got the best content. Or at least, the newest, freshest, most-interesting content.
