This week we got the first taste of Rae Sremmurd's frothcoming triple album release Sremmlife 3. The album is set to feature one album from the duo alongside solo albums from Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi. The first single released was the group track "Powerglide." It sounds like a typical Sremmurd tune and features a verse from Juicy J. The two solo singles lean towards each members preferred sound, with Swae Lee's "Hurt To Look" a commercial R&B tune and Slim Jxmmi's "Brxnks Trucks" a harder rap track. All three are great but I lean towards Lee's R&B vibes.
We also got new DJ Khaled featuring Jay Z, Future and Beyonce in the form of "Top Off," Lil Durk sampling Bone Thugs N Harmony's on "Cross Roads," Dave East coming through with "Set It Off" and Lady Leshurr drops another banger with "New Freezer."
