One problem with living in South Africa is that sometimes the hottest new tracks get released while I'm asleep. Case in point: Purity Ring's "Push Pull," which made its way onto the internet at roughly 4am my time.
Fortunately songs tend to stick around once released, and I now find myself in a position to write about this dreamy synth-pop doozy. So, what's to say?
It's nice to hear familiar vocals, and in that light the band don't disappoint. The single comes with news that they're gearing up to release a sophomore album, following up their pretty amazing debut Shrines. Here's hoping we're in store for a whole lot more goodness.
